After a long break and yet another transformation of the Alexx Calise band, we are back and will be playing Skinny's Lounge in North Hollywood with the Infamous "Metalachi". On Tuesday March 27th, Alexx Calise's now power trio will be main support for this amazing METAL MARIACHI BAND. As always I will be on drums and our own Scott Williams is now on bass ( is there an instrument he can't play?). See you there. The debut album from Sound of Cancer (the collaborative music project of recording artists, Alexx Calise and Dennis Morehouse) will be released to all major online music media outlets Oct. 31 Called "No Vampires in Gilroy", the album was written and recorded over a period of 3 years, in between Calise and Morehouse's rigorous touring/recording schedules.

April 2011 It has been talked about for a very long time, but it is finally happening. With the help of Alexx Calise and Dennis's good friend Scott Williams the Sound of Cancer CD is getting mix. Thanks to Scott they already have 5 mixes of the 10 song CD ready to go. Scott has been the last ingredient that Alexx and Dennis need to complete there vision. Look for samples of Sound of Cancer's up coming CD "No Vampires In Gilroy" over the coming month.

Over the last four months, Dennis has been hard at work with Alexx Calise putting together her live show in support of her CD "In Avanti," which is a great blend of rock and electronica. In the past, a live band would just play along with tracks to recreate that sound live, but Dennis and Alexx made a choice to do it all live without any tracks. This posed quite a challenge. It required a lot of hard work and the assistance of some very talented musicians to pull it off. Dennis and Alexx were very fortunate to find just those players to play such a show. They now have Brian Marshak on Guitar, and Scott Williams on keyboards, guitar, backing vocals and some drums. The band is now ready and is playing local show to prepare for upcoming touring in 2011. Dennis ones again teamed up with Grammy nominated producer Luigi Gonzalez to track drums for latin recording artist Christopher Von Uckermann. Dennis tracked drums on 5 tracks for Christopher's up coming solo album do out later this year.

Dennis is heading to San Jose, CA on Sunday the 9th to track the final drums for the Sound of Cancer album. He will be working with one of his oldest friends and one of his favorite producer/engineers Jerry Ososkie. With these final drums and a couple more vocal sessions the record will be ready to be mixed. It has been a longer process then Alexx and Dennis had hoped, but it has been a labor of love. Over the last few months Alexx and Dennis with help from there good friend Eric Klein have been working hard to completing the "Sound Of Cancer" album. Eric has been helping them with the mixing and some last minute production Ideas, but for now they are on a short break from SOC so that Alexx can finish the last few tracks on her forthcoming Solo album "In Avanti". They will be back to work in a couple of weeks to finish up. THEY PROMISE!
In December of last year Dennis recorded drums for Pedro Capo's new CD on Sony Latin. This was another record that Dennis had the pleasure of working with produces Rafael Esparza-Ruiz and Luigi Gonzalez. This self titled record is now out and available on itunes. In 2007 and 2008 Dennis played drums for The legendary Guitarist Mark Ford's world tour. At the end of that touring they went straight into the studio to record. They recorded with all of them in the same room to capture the live energy. They wanted to give the listener that live experience. This record has been sitting in a vault until now. Mark Ford is finally releasing this recored for the world to hear. It is Called "Mark Ford Fuzz Machine". It will be available for sale soon, but if you want a taste you can hear a couple of the tracks on Mark Ford's Myspace.
